Iraq

I know so little about the publishing world this blog is not as active as my other one I thought it would be worth my while and my readers while to keep it alive rather than let it be dormant, abandon and relegated to deletion.  Although I play different chess players from all over the world one of my last  chess playing opponents raised an interesting question to me.  His question to me was why?  My response was why what?  After all I was in a chess format not a chat room but he wanted to know what country I was from a common question in such a chess  playing format.  I am not comfortable being in places where I am out of my means but playing players in chess from different countries around the world online is within my means.  This particular  player said he was from Iraq.  I will not complicate the story but it is probably true            that America the land of the free and the brave is not so loved by other countries as much as I thought especially for what we as Americans did in going to war with Iraq.  It is true we as Americans took out Saddam Hussein.  You might wonder  how I arrive at the conclusion that  you and I did so.  I don't think I moved a finger I did not shoot the leader I never even gave it a thought to shoot the sheriff and most certainly I did not shoot the deputy.
