Today is Christmas Day.  This blog is not dead as I have  not abandoned it.  How could I forget a day such as this one?  It is understood to me that a man died on a cross a God or Jesus Christ as he is known this isn't about physics but it is a religion.  The news people  cannot ignore this day in as much that at one time the separation between church and state existed.  Too many years have gone by with little attention to the teachings of Jesus but more solid evidence and facts are at my command thanks to the Internet and it is my quest to find out what exactly did Jesus  Christ have to say about himself and the powers he possessed.  Is it not safe or correct in noting that in America Christianity has been fairly ingrained into the social structure of America?   Is it not true that the symbol of Christianity is the cross as is the symbol of Chinese civilization is The Great Wall Of China?  No one famous made this up but                                this is a statement made to describe the symbols of two nations.  Ann Frank was smart and through the power of her written words she still lives her soul is ever present.  But I will be searching for the genius types who can explain away the scriptures.  But simply put the belief in Christianity can justify my belief that the soul within all living beings can never be destroyed and never die.

We must not forget about sports and the symbol  or logo which represents the local football team here in the San Francisco Bay Area?  Didn't they play a game a few days ago?  And the game was good up to the last remaining  minutes?  Has not the question which plagues this West Coast city of San Francisco come up again of whether the local team will see another dynasty?   I'm not watching and I will not jinx them.

When We Grow Older

My father wrote the first book authored by a Chinese American male that I can currently recall.  Many more have been written by female Asians or females of Chinese American ethnicity than males I suppose in the rush to give the Asian female American equality within this American society I have begun to know.   Who is to know better than his own son who he helped raise and nurture?    And thus I begin to review my own father's book entitled "Resourceful Chinese".  Joe  Montana the great football quarterback who played for the Forty Niners told me what goes on in his mind when he is under pressure to win and come back from behind with only minutes left in the game sometimes seconds and now maybe somehow someone will let him know what I think as a Chinese American who could never make it to the big leagues not even a dream could get me there.  My father did not profit from this book nor do I make money writing this blog therefore to advertise here would be inappropriate one would think.  This is merely a hobby of mine as was the works of Ann Frank who wrote the book Diary of Ann Frank.  I am not a professional writer but when can someone like my father become a professional writer when he has passed on?  I am here and if  at all possible will see to his dreams that his already published book is met with world wide approval.  The reporters of the news have long since briefed me on the news and I have responded.  As I grow older I have seen the hopes and dreams come alive yet at times too often enough unfulfilled.  For instance the city from which my father spent most of his life when he wrote his book "Resourceful Chinese" namely Oakland the dream in which Martin Luther King spoke about is not happening.

Robots or Slave Labor?

Where is America headed?  It had better not take a nose dive.  How do the unskilled and uneducated too poor to find a job survive?  I know what I speak about as I am in that category for I have seen the rich getting richer and the  poor getting poorer?  Yes, it is true I must watch what I say for the powerful and the rich do have tremendous  power over me  yet I love this country don't I for it is a democratic one with the ability for one and all to speak about life, liberty and the pursuit for happiness?  The old timers   know these words very well we know them well and are out to apply these words to our very existence.    The masses have tremendous power and will not be led around by dictators like before who ruled with impunity.  I do not have the answers but I am learning through you for the power is in the people.   My apologies I did not get to the topic of robots and slave labor as yet.  I'll get there.

A Building Encounter With A Russian

The best company I could come up with was any company from anywhere I did not buy into the latest reports on bad performance but relied on over as well as current performance and a man with a Russian accent came into the picture here in America. I'm not writing this report for profit as yet to date I do not get paid for what I write but what is valuable to me as hinted by a renown editor who has read my works writing is good for the soul and I need all the good soul that can be mustered. The owner and boss of his company was rather unique and prepared to do business from the get go although I will not mention the name of the company as I am not here to plug or advertise anyone at the moment now. But will I in the future? I'm writing this post as a human interest story and yes I know no one wants to be fooled. Having carefully studied the market and what would suffice for my building needs to make a long story short I used fiber cement for the material although I never heard of such material until I began to examine it for the present day circumstances. It was for construction and repair of old siding or wood which in my opinion was decaying. Would stereotyping this Russian man be of any assistance to my needs? I knew the Russians built the Kremlin and they were very successful in producing a machine gun in answer to the brutal assault to their homeland during the second World War against the invading Germans. But could this Russian man meet my needs for design and durable structure outside my very own house? As you know stereo typing is a dirty word or dirty words it is politically incorrect to the fullest and judging the Russian people by only one man of this ethnic culture would be unfair and not just. How can I stereotype when I never saw this man playing music or ever typing? And my point? Reiterating I am not your typical journalist my blog is nothing more than a diary I call a journal as I journey through life noting the news in my life as seen as well on the news channels and the internet as I attempt to assess all views on life rather than just mine. And the end result of this story? They did a knock up job or in other words the job they did was excellent meeting approval not just of my judgement but by all. Any corrections to my story are welcome.

The Major Causes of A Breakup

A famed psychotherapist spoke on the radio the other day indicating that the primary reason are financial problems to religious differences. My question posed to her was one of completely different approach. My question challenged the validity of whether pornography hindered a marriage or helped. Her response was an excellent one as Ronn Owens commented my question posed was an excellent one. Being prepared and at the ready to answer her questioning for me Owens interceded replying I would be on hold. It did not take a rocket scientist to come up with a smart answer.

Quality Of Products Will Improve

One of the first Chinese made or made in China products was one I had bought and took great pride in the ownership of this merchandise. But that was so long ago when a young man. Now that I am older and losing my hair many years from now little did I realize that almost every product on market is made in China or would be made in China as it is today. I never in my most wildest imagination or dreams think that this would happen. The thoughts were that China is a third world nation a laggard so to speak doing things the primitive ways and in the thirties in the last century the thought was that it was a poor nation filled with starving people and it would remain that way indefinitely. I had no ideal the economy would rapidly advance so fast and accelerate like there was no braking power. It had to slow down no industrialized nation had ever kept up such pace in that number of years. It had never been done. It is just not me that has made this observation but almost everyone I have come into contact with which is the masses or the common person on the street not the advanced degree educated of the elite. We must never forget that it is the masses of the people who have created the very foundation with which the elite can survive and prosper. So then what is my point? I have seen the light of day when in my later years when all of hope had little chance to survive that indeed perhaps a laggard nation had a breathe of life and a chance for hope.
