It Takes A Hero

My idols are Ann Frank and my father and his brother Ed. Ann Frank wrote about her life expectancy and in my mind wrote one of the most important literary works of the modern times. Most of us would agree that the world was at a major war and for the most part not a subject to bring up anymore unless taught in history classes but knowing about history these days...ops here I go off again into tangents not relevant to the purpose of this journal. For one concept is that I am American and no I did not just arrive in this country of America from China and make claim to it because it suits my fancy. I just wished my immediate ancestors left a journal or a diary about their hopes and wishes and what was important to them if anything at all. This is the intention of this journal I am writing. If it appears that I am writing an introduction to this blog called Journalism Reports for an endless length of time I am in all probability. Believe it or not I am inspired by the works of Ann Frank and if can ever be an inspiration to anyone and do good then maybe just maybe I will have accomplished a dream. My father when I knew him while he was alive was a good man and I have no fear of being connected to him and what his brother did in World War 11 in his mission to Nazi Germany has made me into an American proud of what he had done. His story can be googled his website is accurate from all of my accounts and if I stand to be corrected then let it be known my knowledge of the mechanics of this Internet is something of desire or in other words why more commentaries to this blog is not in order remains a mystery to me. My father is a book author and his story within me lives and if in anyway I can promote his book I will. It is called "Resourceful Chinese" which to me initially struck me with embarrassment. Being Chinese in America for the most part was a very good thing for many ethnic Chinese if they wanted to subsist and survive as America was certainly a place to do it. But to become a mainstream rock of part of an affluent society the Chinese had little place but a waiting line to be admitted into this country of America. No I am not an immigrant nor was my father or his father a bank teller who drove around in a model T Ford. Ann Frank wanted to become a journalist and she too had a dream and a story to tell but then again Adolph Hitler did too and he did his best to smash her dreams. Yet her story lives on through her book and will never die and it triumphs over Hitler's story the name I wish not to give credit to. If I can tell of my father's story then maybe his dreams will live on. He was very proud of his book yet no one paid it attention. But now I have. The evidence is here it has been made. He left this piece of evidence behind and now it is for me to tell in his own words. I do know I have very little interest in what I am now saying but that can be changed. And so what is my point? My point is a very good one. Read on.
