A Journalist Always Tells The Truth
If this is true then why did I mistakenly blunder and think that the Forty Niners the West Coast Football in the NFL not very known to me and many others are going to be winners and repeat their performance that they so gallantly accomplished under the leadership and coaching of Bill Walsh back in the eighties; I know very little about football yet I was bold enough to think they were in the midst of achieving another dynasty under this new leadership of coach Harbaugh. I do remember our beloved Forty Niners winning the first game of the season thanks to my son a real sports fan of football and the Forty Niners making a successful run in six drives to lead in the game. So impressed was I in that drive I figured they could do at will with their opposition and blow them out the first game of this season. Well they didn't and in their second game of this season they lost! My God did I walk around with my foot in my mouth and I looked pretty stupid. I was so confident they were going to do so well. But let me think this one out. Last week they did blow out what was the team the Buffalo Bills? It might have been them but they did accomplish a blowout. I told you so that I know so little about football. Then you might ask why do I pretend I'm some big shot sports journalist and write as if I'm some sort of authority to the sport of football let alone writing about a nation such as China portraying itself as though China is some sort of superpower? Who do I think I am some kind of politician or economist expert on world affairs?
I never said these things. I am neither of these things. In fact none of my contemporaries would waste their time and talk to me about football where I was employed at the Postal Service because I was and still am at a knowledge of this field of football in limited ability. I know nothing. But please no brag here but I did get a hold of Joe Montana, Steve Mariucci, Jerry Rice and the former coach Bill Walsh just before he passed on and they told me all I need to know about our local football team The Forty Niners. For now I will spare you God knows how many times I repeated what I learned from these famous leaders who led a dynasty known as the Forty Niners. So again you might ask as one of my former coworkers asked me what am I a name dropper or someone who associates myself with an important person simply because I happened to reach them on the air and get their views broadcasted?
Again I repeat myself I am not a journalist not the kind you may think I am. I do not write for any one person or any newspaper publication nor did any one school train me for any corporate conglomeration as to what I should write. I merely keep a cluster of diaries around but I call them journals because they are concerned with the news of the day and yes I did write them all myself. No one else wrote them for me. I did not copy theses ideals from anyone. Every blog entry is a composition of mine and from no one else. I merely have some ideals I have been promoting in this blog and I do not get paid but I am doing it as Marty Nemko suggested for my soul. The only profit I am making from this blog is from the hope I may be making this world a better place to live when I leave this world. If this local football team can lead their way toward being a dynasty and the nation of China can thrive and be a prosperous nation rather than the embarrassment and the humiliation of this world then we may be seeing China as well as a sports team here in America becoming another dynasty as they both once were. It is time long since overdue that China step up to the plate and lead the way for all nations to share in whatever economical wealth it can produce.
